Selling a used utility body

The following is a recent post on Craigs list, and a good example of how to sell a used Load N Go... with one exception.

USED LOAD N GO FOR SALE $3,900
The unit I have has all of the options that Fleetwest offers. It sells for over 10k out the door new.

This is great for those who don't want to lose your full size truck bed. Your able to load and unload it fully loaded. The Fleetwest product is top notch in it's fabrication quality!

Here is the web site you can check out!

We found the ad a couple of days after it was posted, and sent the seller a note.  We asked him if it had sold yet, and if not to please call.  The following was his response:

I forgot to take the add off. I did sell the Load'N'Go.  I loved that thing! I sold it because I got out of the trade and didn't use it anymore. I had a hard time making up my mind to sell it, I really wanted to keep it. But when I posted it I got a hit right away I had two people bidding for it and sold it for $4800.

Thanks for your time,

The ONE thing this seller forgot to do, CHECK WHAT OTHER SIMILAR MODELS ARE SELLING FOR!  If he had, he would have found out that his 5 year old Load'N'Go' typically would sell in the range of 60 to 80% of the Original Sales Price!

GOOD NEWS THOUGH... It SOLD RIGHT AWAY ... 'For $900 MORE than he was asking!

THANKS FOR SHARING!
