Tune in to Truck U

We love to visit our friends Matt and Bruno at Truck U! Back in November of 2015, they helped out a friend create a support truck for a Can-Am Commander race team. They used a Fleetwest composite truck body, CTB or Durashell, to outfit a truck and store all the gear needed. They even showed how to put our service body on the truck!

NTEA was a record breaking success

The 2016 NTEA Work Truck Show had the highest attendance ever! A record setting 11,905 industry professionals came from all 50 states, eight Canadian provinces and 19 countries to the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. With so many fresh, ingenious ideas and designs on display at the WTS, how could it not be a hit?

“It was a great week,” says Steve Carey, NTEA executive director. “The Work Truck Show is the one event where everyone involved with vocational vehicles in North America comes together to share ideas, see what’s new and find opportunities for their business operations.”

As one of the top 100 trade shows in the U.S., the Work Truck Show 2017 has already sold out exhibit space. Even after expanding the exhibit floor by more than 40 percent, NTEA will have maxed out all available space for the 2017 show.

Optronics International Fusion LED combination lamp
Being the perfect opportunity for new product releases, Optronics International revealed their redesigned Fusion LED combination lamp at the WTS. This innovative lamp is a combination stop, tail, turn and backup lamp and hosts both red and white LEDs on a single board, with a patent-pending optical design. These Fusion LED combination lamps are expected to be available in the second quarter of 2016. We just might have to check these out for our transferable truck bodies!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us at the Fleetwest booth #5977! We enjoyed educating attendees about our innovative, transferable composite truck body we had on display. We were proud to represent our 2016 composite CTB 145LP model and address innovative ways to:

  • Reduce downtime
  • Increase Fleet flexibility & security
  • Raise technician job satisfaction
  • Add economical solutions to any size fleet
Fleetwest looks forward to working on future endeavors with all industry professionals we visited with.

As you can see from our display, pictured below, our low profile ladder rack makes this truck body ideal for parking garage access. This provides flexibility and ease for technicians at work sites.

What DRIVES You?

Innovative products and concepts are what drive companies to the next level in growth and excellence. These ideas are started with just a thought or notion and it builds into something fresh, exciting and new.
An example of this was at the 2016 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating (AHR) Expo this last January. Held in Orlando Florida, the AHR Expo had record breaking attendance and welcomed over 60,000 registered attendees, despite flight cancellations due to Winter Storm Jonas and travel bans in the Northeast. The Expo was housed in Florida’s largest convention center and filled with over 2,000 exhibitors for the thousands of HVACR professionals seeking the most cutting-edge developments. At the 2016 AHR Expo Innovation Awards Ceremony, Aeroseal’s HomeSeal duct sealing technology was announced as the “product of the year”. This innovative product is the first alternative to traditional manual sealing products, providing relief to HVAC contractors. This is a groundbreaking solution to an industry-wide problem of ventilation issues that have gone untreated, in the past, due to hard-to-access leaks.

When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.” ~ Paulo Coelho

What makes us different?

Fleetwest is an innovative fleet solutions company specializing in transferable service bodies for pickup trucks. We offer both fiberglass composite and steel constructed transferable service bodies for standard pickup trucks. Our service bodies are designed to outlast multiple trucks and be a versatile solution through a universal truck fit design; no holes drilled installation and transferable from one truck to another in minutes.

There are three ways you can transfer the service bodies on/off.
  • Forklift
  • Lifting Jacks
  • Crane

The Load’N’Go steel service body has forklift tunnels built into every model and can be transferred from truck to truck while fully loaded.  This saves valuable man hours and there is no downtime on the job site hunting for tools in a borrowed service vehicle.  The lifting jack method allows the service technician more flexibility in transferring the service body on the job site or at a remote location where a forklift might not be available.  Using a crane to transfer the service body is the quickest and easiest method. No matter which transfer option you use, the transferable truck body will add valuable flexibility and cost savings to your service fleet.
