Future for Chevy Pickups

"The technology of advanced high-strength steel makes the Chevrolet Silverado stronger, lighter, more capable and more efficient - and that's exactly what the Toughnology concept represents," said Jeff Luke, executive chief engineer for General Motors.  The Chevorlet Silverado Toughnology concept was revealed this past week, which showcases the concept for Silverado's connectivity technologies that includes an all-new OnStar 4G with built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.  The "toughnology" offers advanced high-strength steel that makes the Chevrolet Silverado stronger, lighter, more capable and more efficient.  The steel used can be up to 30 percent lighter than carbon steel, but still have the same strength, and is at a lower cost than aluminum, which helps keep down the overall cost of the vehicle.

For fleet trucks it is very important to stay efficient and a way to add to that is with Fleetwest Transferable Truck Bodies Load'N'Go services.  These transferable pickup tool boxes fit any short or long bed model Chevy truck, as seen in the pictures below. They are completely transferable on and off a pickup truck in minutes with no-holes-drilled installation for optimum flexibility.
